LGBTQ+

Mexx Heart champions equality by voicing her support for the LGBTQ+ community across social media. She dedicated her debut album, 'Paper House,' to raise awareness to anti-transgender bills being introduced at the time of the album's release. At the release party, she platformed The Transformations Project, a transgender rights news sharing charity that updates the public via social media about Anti-Trans news. She's also a regular member and donor to the ACLU.

Public Support/Immigration

Mexx has opened up about her struggles with public transportation, and urged her followers to vote "Yes" to the Transit Referendum that was on the 2024 ballot. The Referendum expands bus routes and runs daily in high volume areas, benefitting marginalized neighborhoods, and citizens of color the most. Noticing this, as of 2025, Mexx has become a volunteer for NICE Nashville. NICE Nashville helps immigrants acquire jobs, housing, even citizenship. Mexx hopes to help families through NICE to achieve all of those goals.

Women's Rights

Mexx became a member of Our Voices, a now defunct group that organized Women's Rights protests in downtown Nashville and Clarksville. After Roe v Wade was overturned, Mexx joined the group to share her stories and gather support,  and share her journey with reproductive healthcare. Though the charity is no longer operational, Mexx still lends her voice in interviews and on her social platforms
